Hello Jeremiah! How long have you been at Dynatrace?
I joined Dynatrace in March 2015
What was the career path that led you here?
I’ve always been in the IT field from small computer shops building systems and SOHO networks and servers to Software Architect managing Amazon AWS infrastructure.
How has support at Dynatrace changed since you’ve been here?
Support at Dynatrace has shifted to encouraging greater community engagement.
How do you participate in the Dynatrace Community?
You will see my name come up from time to time on Dynatrace Keynote product line posts. Whether it be answering questions or creating Knowledge base articles and coming soon, videos!
What products do you support?
Currently I support full Dynatrace Keynote product line KSC, KITE, MITE, MwP, TxP, ApP, and MyKeynote.
What keeps you at Dynatrace?
What is your passion outside of work? What do you like to do?
Cars and programming. Outside of work I’m either working on my own programming project or one of my cars.
What is your educational background?
The Internet and books. I started working in IT while in high school at the local computer shop. From that point I just kept reading and playing with computers. When I was 16 we upgraded the family computer (500Mhz AMD AM2 with 64MB ram 10GB HD Windows 98) I was able to take the old Packard Bell Intel 486 DX2 with 8MB ram and 400MB HD to Install RedHat Linux. Auto partitioning was not even a thought yet and everything was done via Command Line from creating a boot disk to running the installer from CD, creating mount points. I was hooked and never looked back.
Why should people participate in the Dynatrace Community?
Become more knowledgeable in the product you use and rely on. We have all sorts of great features and will be adding more. Education videos, KB articles, Documents and new features being released all come to the community. Let your voice be heard and help mold Dynatrace.
