Hello Maple! How long have you been at Dynatrace?
I joined Dynatrace in January 2013
What was the career path that led you here?
I had around 3 years of customer service and 1 year of software development experience in the internet industry before joining Dynatrace. Dynatrace provides me a good position and allows me to utilize my Computer Technology skills and further my Knowledge in Customer service.
How has support at Dynatrace changed since you’ve been here?
In the past, we spent most of our working time on calls and emails with customers. Today we can communicate with customers via the forums in Community. Also, searching and sharing docs/articles in community has become another part of our work.
How do you participate in the Dynatrace Community?
Sharing product ideas in the forum, finding fantastic articles and learning the latest news.
What products do you support?
I am focused on the Synthetic Monitoring products, including Browser agent, Dynatrace Recorder, Dynatrace Portal, and Datafeed API.
What keeps you at Dynatrace?
We have a great customer support team, and I feel very comfortable working here. We always share our knowledge and exchange our customer service experience in community. Everyone is nice. And they are always happy to provide you help when you need a hand.
What is your passion outside of work? What do you like to do?
Traveling and cooking. Traveling to different countries/cities means meeting different people, which is a good way to broaden my horizons and understand different cultures.
What is your educational background?
I studied software engineering for 4 years in college, which included JAVA, Oracle, Networking (TCP/IP DNS etc.), Web Technologies (CSS, DOM, HTML, XML, Java Script etc. ), SQL and Linux.
Why should people participate in the Dynatrace Community?
Dynatrace Community is an open and free platform associating Product Management, Customer Support and customers, where you can search for knowledge and feel free to post your questions/ideas. This is also a good place to get closer to the Product Management team and check the latest product release info. It is worth your time and attention.
