Hi,
Need input regarding how to handle large number of similar measure creation.
A customer has given requirement to measure response time of around 2000 URLs of their application !!!
So now manually creating response time measure for each URL will take lot of time, so they are looking for some kind of automation that can be placed to reduce this effort such importing xml format for URL pattern etc.
URL patterns examples are: generateCorrFromTemplate, updateFinalizedInformation, deleteCorrespondence, getCorrespondenceHistory
deleteCMCorrespondences etc etc.
Although i am trying to convince customer not to monitor each url but still they want to know any work around possible.
Any suggestion or input on this is highly appreciated.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for inputs, yeah thats a good way to approach.
Problem is customer may not completely agree for this as apart from looking at the dashboard they are more keen to pull out metrics hourly / daily data for reporting purpose.
-Thanks, Ankur

Hi Ankur,
I can't speak to the automatic creation, as when I have had similar tasks in the past I've approached them manually. BUT the customer may find more value in the Automatic Baselining functionality in the "Monitoring" dashboard. The best thing about measuring against a baseline is that your application either stays the same or improves, otherwise it's in a "red" state. The baseline happens per-split for subscribed Business Transactions, so they will still have individual thresholds per URI.
Does that help?
