Client denied error

Hi ,

We are using dynaTrace 5.6.0 64 bit server and UEM is installed.

Fix pack 5924 is installed.

After installation of UEM in web server we are getting following error. This error stack trace is logged at Web server log file.

[Tue Aug 26 09:35:34 2014] [error] [client 11.11.11.111] client denied by server configuration: /xx/xx/xx/xx/xx/dtagent56_bnp3_5924.js,  referer: https://xxxx.xx.xx.com/xx/xx/xx/xx/xx/xx/xxxx.xhtml

Could you please suggest?

Thanks and Regards,

Ashwin

Hi Ashwin

By default dynaTrace injects the dynaTrace JAvaScript agent (dtagent_xyz.js) on the same URL as the page it gets injected to. In most cases webservers are however configured to not allow downloading JAvaScript files from any URL. Typcically web servers are configured to only allow JavaScript files from certain URL Patterns such as http://www.abc.com/resources/js/dtagent.js. If that is also the case in your configuration you can go to your System Profile under System Profile - User Experience. There are settings where you can change both the injection location of the JavaScript file as well as the URL that we use to send the data back to dynaTrace.

We also have a built in UEM Health Check and a good list for UEM Admin Troublshooting: User Experience Management Administration
