Created a BT for Split by Client version using 'Real User Page Actions' as template and see a lot of splits.
Did a similar one using 'Page Actions by Client Family' as template (and changed split to by version) and see no splits. Data looks better for plotting purposes. Please let me know if there is any reason I should not use this one compared to the one above.

It shouldnt matter which one you use. The Split Measure in both Out-of-the-Box BTs will deliver the same value

The only difference between these two Out-of-the-Box Busineses Transactions is the Split Options. "Real User Page Actions" uses the "Top 50" split option which is why you see the "<...>" bucket which includes those split values that do not fall under the Top 50. Also - in the "learing phase" of our smart splitting algorithm it is normal that some splittings may fall into the <...> before we are able to figure out that it is actualy a Top X. Reason is becuase we use a sampling size of 500 before we can determine which split values to show with its full name and which ones to fall into <...>
Now - I dont think there are thousands of unique Client Family names - therefore it is safe to use the "No Restriction" Split Option
