I only see 1 hours worth of data in my Dashboards and then it disappears. Any ideas?
The reason for this is that you probably dont have a performance warehouse connected where we store historical data. by default dynatrace keeps data in memory for one hour. Thats why you see the 1 hour but not more. Please open your Server Settings Dialog and check the Performance Warehouse configuration.
Hi Andreas - It looks like my Performance Warehouse stopped storing data at the same time as this error -
2015-03-12 07:34:10 - 2015-04-08 02:25:39 [3w 5d 18h 51min 29s]
Exception: Data integrity violation occurred see attached message for details : Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'app_uk'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.application'.
that explains that. Please try to reconnect. Also - please open a support ticket so that my colleagues from engineering can look into this

Hi. It seems that there is a problem with events that dynaTrace is incorrectly waiting on to complete the PurePath. I suggest you open a support ticket for this so that engineering can look into this.
You should also look into your Deployment Dashboards. There are metrics called "Skipped Events" which indicates that events captured by the agent got lost on the way. It could indicate to a deployment issue (e.g: Agent, Collector or Server are overutilized and therefore loose data) - it could also mean that you have e.g: problems on the network and therefore loose data between these components - it could however also be a problem in dynaTrace. To figure this out i suggest you open a ticket

Hi Andreas, Thanks for replying I've exported a session with two identical purepaths except that one is less then 1 hour old and has status "processing" and one older then 1 hour that has timed out They both represent the same webservice call However, I can't work out how to attach a file this thred ???

Hi Erik. Can you export such a PurePath and attach it to this forum post? Or attach a screenshot? I would be interested to see the type of PurePath (Web, Batch, ...) and figure out why this purePath times out
Answer by Erik V. ·
All our PP seems to finish OK and the Response Time and Durations refects the time taken However the status continues to be "processing" for 1 hour and the turns gray (The PurePath did not finish in time) No change in the configuration, sensor placements etc have been made (not intentionally anyway )
Regards
Erik
