Hi all
I use the convenient Dynatrace Sensor Packs in my System profiles in Dynatrace 5.5 We use the cms-System CQ5 from Adobe. With the Servlets Sensor Pack, there are very, very much doFilter-methods measured. Is there a way to exclude some of this doFilter-Methods? Are there any plans to include some new configuration possibilities to do this?

Matthias

Hi Christian
It are only grey autosensors now So I think this is ok. As they are shwon even when 'Show only relevant nodes' is selected, makes the analysis less convenient
Thank you
Matthias
If you dont want to see Auto Sensor data at all you can toggle the button "Show or hide autosensor nodes". You will find that button in the top right of the PurePath dashlet - right above the PurePath hotspots view
Hi Andreas
Thank you I didn't use this button until now It helps analyzing the purepath with all the many doFilter calls

Hi Andreas
I changed the sensor pack and checked 'Use Delegation Suppression' in the javaxservletFilter Then I did a hot sensor Placement But now, I stll see all the doFilter methods
Do I have to restart the Dynatrace Server?
Regards
Matthias
Hi Matthias
I forwarded this to the engineering team - but - until i get feedback from the you can try to restart your application
Andi
hi Matthias,
do you see those methods with a blue (instrumented sensor) or a grey (auto-sensor) icon in front of the method?
apart from that I would also recommend a restart of the application if possible.
best,
Christian

Hallo Andreas
Thank you for the answer. I didn't find the topic you mentioned, so I posted my question to the forum
Kind regards
Matthias

dynaTrace 6 is taking care of these long chains. SO - in case you can upgrade I suggest to do so.
If you have to stay with 5.5 you may want to read up the following discussion: Own Sensor via Sensorpacks
