Configuring 30 mins duration in all dashlets in a dashboard

Hi,

We have created a dashboard with 4 dashlets, but the duration for each dashlet is different depending on the data. i need to configure all the charts having 30 mins time interval,Can we configure as such? That is ,i should have the X-axis with a duration of 30 mins in all 4 dashlets, what ever time i need.

For example:

If i want data from 2:00-7:00(5 Hrs)

all my dashlets in the dashboard should display chart with duration of 30 mins...in X-axis like 2:00  2:30  3:00  3:30  4:00  4:30   5:00  5:30  6:00  6:30 7:00 in all 4 dashlets.

If  i want data from 2:00-15:00(13 Hrs)

all my dashlets in the dashboard should display chart with duration of 30 mins...in X-axis like 2:00  2:30  3:00  3:30  4:00  4:30   5:00  5:30  6:00  6:30 7:00 7:30  8:00  8:30  9:00  9:30  10:00  10:30  11:00  11:30  12:00  12:30  13:00  13:30  14:00  14:30 15:00 in all 4 dashlets.

Can we configure as such? kindly suggest..

Thanks

Anusha.

Hi Anusha,

The labels on the axis depend on the size of the chart and your screen resolution. In the screen shot you posted the bottom charts simply have not enough room to put labels for each hour on there. The top row charts are a bit larger so there is at least enough space for a label every 2 hours.

This is default behavior, nothing you can change or configure to influence this.

You can of course define the resolution for each chart to be 30 minutes. For the timeframe the individual chart should use "Dashboard default", which allows you to switch all 6 charts at once by changing the resolution for the whole dashboard.

Best, Roman

Kindly check the image below for the dashboard we have prepared(highlighted area) which shows data for 24 hrs.
