Curiously, what's the current status regarding JBoss 7 / EAP 6 / Wildfly support in the latest Dynatrace version? More specifically, is there any support for retrieving measures via the Native JBoss Management API?
Background: We are currently still using Dynatrace 5.5 (planning move to 6.0 very soon) and we are facing more and more cases where on JBoss EAP 6 certain useful metrics are simply not exposed out-of-the-box via JMX anymore whereas they would have been available via DMR queries over the CLI/Native Management Endpoint (for example datasource connection pool usage, see also this related discussion on the JBossDeveloper forums).
I wonder if by moving to Dynatrace 6.0 we will have more possibilities in this regards and/or if it is "only" a matter of exposing additional MBeans over JMX?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hi Enrico
Wildfly will be supported by the upcoming dynaTrace 6.1 (Fall 2014) Release.
As for the new measurement interface. dynatrace doesnt support that new native interface out-of-the-box. But there is the following community plugin you should look at: JBoss 7 Datasource Monitoring Plugin

Hi,
even having 6.1 I can see the "Wildfly" technology to select from the "Add tier"-wizard, but I dont see any preconfigured JMX metrics for Wildfly. Only the old JBoss are contained, which are not working for Wildfly. I also crosschecked in DT 6.2 and it is not contained there either. Is it yet to come?
The JBoss 7 Datasource Monitoring Plugin does not seem to help in this case.
Best regards,
Dennis
