How to Create a schedule report for a specific time interval on a daily basics?

Hi all,

REQUIRMENT:

I have a  requirement from customer stating that he wants a report for a dashboard:

  1. From 4 am to 6 am
  2. On a daily basics

STEPS FOLLOWED:

I went ahead and did the following steps to create the report:

  1. Open the particular dashboard
  2. From the timeframe i selected from  4 am to 6  am
  3. Right click on the settings of the particular dashboard-> Report
  4. Click on Create Schedule
  5. And edited the start date from November 5th (10:00:00 AM)
  6. End date " Forever" ; Recurrence : Every 1 day

ISSUE FACED:

  1. I'm daily receiving the alert mails only for "Nov 5th from 4 am to 6 am"  daily Morning at 10 am.

Please let me know how could i get the report on a daily basics from 4 am to 6 am for the corresponding day.

Thanks in advance.

 K.Shanmugan

Can you change the timeframe on your dashboard to "Last X" and specify "2 hours" shift by "4 hours". That should execute the report at 10AM and use the timeframe from 4 to 6AM (shift by 4 hours = 6AM and then last 2 hours from that point on).

Please give this a try. In the moment - when you specify a certain timeframe you also specify the data. Thats why the report always comes up with Nov 5th which is probably the day in your timeframe definition
