Dashboard for offline session storage

Hi,

i have given the session storage for my development team and the team also wanted to see the dashboard at that point in time.

thus i exported the corresponding dashboards and changed the source server and session accordingly.

Also i changed the timeframe window accordingly.

however, i am getting the error, "No measurements available for this timeframe"

Please help.

Regards,

K.Shanmugan

Andy,

When I right click on stored session and select "Process Configuration Changes", Business Transaction charts started showing up but memory chart doesn't work yet.

Not sure why I need to do "Process Configuration Changes" for stored sessions when there are no changes to system profile

Thanks

Ram

Thats interesting. If that is the case it means that something went wrong when exporting the meausures in your stored session.

Can you try exporting another session and verify if this is a consistent behavior? If it is I suggest you open a support ticket. If it is not I suggest you take a look at the dynatrace server log files for entries when you exported this problematic session. maybe something went wrong when exporting this data

Is it possible that the timeframe of your exported session is very small, e.g: 15 mins and the chart resolution is set to something higher than that, e.g: 30 minutes? in this case the chart would try to aggregate data points up to 30 minutes but would only get one point which cannot be visualized in case you have a e.g: an area chart

Test ran for 1 hour 10 minutes and there are more than 120 data points for each transaction. Attached the screenshot for your reference

Ok - so - this is a business transaction you want to chart. Can you please verify if the business transaction is actually creating measures? You can do this by "editing" the business transaction and verify if the check box "Store Results in Performance Warehouse" is checked.

Yes, "Store Results in Performance Warehouse" is checked

Make sure you have no custom timefilter specified. Make sure the timefile is selected to "AUTO". that will then automatically select the timeframe of the complete exported session.

Hi

If you export a session you need to make sure you export the data including time series. There is an option in the "Store Session" and "Export Session" dialog. By default it only exports PurePath. you need to selct "PurePath and timeseries". That option also exports all measures which then allows you to view the dashboards on your offline session storage
