We encounter an issue : when we are using the previous version of the Oracle Plugin monitoring an oracle 12c, it fails to get a connection because of the OracleDriver in dt6.1 is 11.
The error message is: ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol
I wonder if you have any solutions ?
Thanks
Fred

Dynatrace sees database activity through JDBC, ADO.NET and PHP Data Access APIs. So - we capture that data from within the application. For database servers you can leverage our Monitoring Concept where our Monitors can query data through interfaces such as Windows Performance Counters or APIs that Oracle provides. For Oracle we do have a community plugin that does a pretty good job to monitor important Oracle metrics: Oracle Monitor Plugin
For SQL Server I recommend using our Windows Performance Monitor which can be extended with some SQL SErver specific Measures by importing SQLServer Monitoring Plugin
