Hi
I have posted a familiar issue in the topic dashboard is not showing data if i use a business transaction, but i could resolve it by adding the measures which are
present in the business transaction instead of adding the BT itself, but i am facing other similar kind of problem. My Business transaction is giving correct data
but when i use that BT to set an incident rule, the incident is not getting triggered. Please find the screenshots below.
1.Business transaction showing count of 6 for the selected timeframe( 7:00 A.M- 11:15 A.M) GMT
2.The count which has been observed for the above BT when i user the Business Transaction measures
3.Incident Rule which has been created for that BT
Kindly Suggest.
Please note that there was no performance warehouse issue observed, writing and readng data into performance warehouse has been observed in the
deployment health dashboards

Hi Andreas,
A business transaction named SLA_9.1 has been developed containing UEM measures as per the below screenshot.
When i add this Buisness transaction to create a incident rule such that if the count of the Business transaction is>=10 the incident rule has to be triggered. So when i add that incident rule,it is shown as follows.
Hence as per the above screenshot when ever the clicks login count is more that 10 it has to trigger the incident rule.
But please find the below screenshot which shows even though any of the measure is showing some count, the clicks login is showing 0.00 ms count.
Hence the incident rule is not at all getting triggered.
Kindly let me know is there any alternative way to acheive my requirement or any way to get the clicks login as total count which occured in BT?

Hi jaydatt,
Please find the requirement details more in detail in the below link. Now the B.T and incident rule is working perfectly fine for one.But for remainingBT's it is having the problem.I think there might be any issue from the performance warehouse while reading the incidents.
Re: Data which is visible from a Business Transaction is not visible in Dashboard

Hi Jaydatt,
I have build a BT capturing UEM total time measures giving starting page and ending page.My BT has to give the count of all the transactions which have exceeded 10s threshold. My Incident rule has to trigger an alert when the count of the BTexceeds 10(>=10).Now i could capture the exact data and alert for one BT.but i have build 12 more BT's of the same kind which were not functioning properly.
Kindly Suggest.

Hi Anusha,
Can you please give the requirement, I mean when exactly you want alerts.
Best Regards,
Jaydatt

Hi Andreas,
I have changed some of the configurations in the BT itself,
Please find the below changes that i have made:
1.The aggreation to last, and checking the failure rates ,duration and count check box near the calculate results tab.
Now for one of the B.T everything is working fine i.e..,
1.B.T to dashboard is giving data
2.B.T to incident rule is also working fine.
But when i try to replicate the same for all other BT which i require,it is not giving the same result.
Please find the below screenshot for our deployment health of Performance warehouse read.Kindly let us know if there is any problem from the performance warehouse itself.
Thanks and Regards,
Anusha.

Hi Andreas,
We have tried making the aggregation to SUM, but still the incident rule is not getting triggered .
I don't know why a simple procedure of creating a BT and using it in a dashboard or using it in incident chart is creating a problem.
Kindly Suggest how can i resolve this problem .
Thanks and Regards,
Anusha.
Answer by Andreas G. ·
Can you try changing the Aggregation To Sum and test it? It should trigger in case the "Sum" of PurePaths that match your BT within 30mins is >=1
I agree that this should already work in the way you have configured - but please try sum and let me know if that makes a difference
