Dashboard filters

Hi

We have a SOA-Environment (Java, Websphere) with many appservers and calls between them So we have to use quite a big dynatrace System Profile I would like to use Dashboard filters to have the possibility to easily analyze the monitored calls for eg. one Batch or the calls coming from one GUI. Is there a easy way to do this with Dashboard filters (or in another way)?

I would have to define a PurePath-filter with several filteroptions like 'starts with a or starts with b or contains x or y ...'

Even better would be to have the possibility to filter by a list of entry points

Any ideas how to do this or do I need a dynatrace enhancement here?

Regards

Matthias

What you could do is create a BT that filters out the entry points you want and apply that to the dashboard as dashboards can be filtered based off of a BT

Hi Matthias,

Currently the best enhancement to the product would be to allow for more definitions of Applications than entry point URI (otherwise everything is pushed to the "Default Application" bucket).  This is a long-standing RFE but certainly deserves a refresh and your "up vote" and comment for support would be appreciated.

RFE - Application mapping - for non-http-based Applications

Thanks,

Rick B
