Hi,
I've set up an incident for when our database queries take longer than 20 seconds to run.
The incident uses a "Threshold Violation Count" measure for a "20 seconds queries" measure, because I want to alarm only if 2 queries satisfy the condition on the same minute.
It works ok, except I've noticed that when 2 agents/applications each have 1 slow query, I'll get an incident saying "all-agents" had 2 or more queries, and I only want incidents per application/agent, I don't want to sum them all.
Is there any way to remove this "all-agents" incident?
Thanks

Within the incident, you can edit the measure you added. You can then go to the details tab to change what the measure calculates for. You can make it so the measure only calculates for specific applications/agent groups. If you are using an out-of-the-box measure for this incident, you may want to create a new measure since you'll be editing the details.
I don't think this solves the issue, won't it still calculate the aggregate value for all the applications/agents I select?
Oh, sorry. I misread you text. You're correct, the way I suggested would be for just one application/agent group.
I think the way Kyle suggested would work though.
Thanks guys, since we have over 60 applications I will consider my request not feasible, having 60 extra measures for each incident that follows this pattern would be a Workaround-oriented programming technique.
If no one else has any suggestions for you other than this work around I would recommend posting something on the Product Feedback and Enhancement Requests forum to see if other people are having a similar issue.
