Browser plugins supported versions

Hi,

would it be possible to add a page to the website which shows which versions of the browser plugins (for dynatrace APM) are supported with which browser versions? I'd like ot be able to see at a glance when I can use the plugin with the latest versions of Firefox and IE.

Thanks
Steve

Got it, thanks. Does the lack of a similar table for 6.1 mean that there is no change in that version and the plugin still supports IE 8-11 and FF 17-32?

Steve - the same table exists for 6.1 - however - it is in the "by default" collapsed section called "System Requirements & Supported Technology".  Here is what the table says

S Firefox 24-32
S Internet Explorer 8/9/10/11

Andi

P.S: Starting from now I think I need to charge for playing "manual google" for you (smile) - just kidding. I fell into the same trap when I just searched on that page and couldnt find it. then I realized this section is hidden by default

On the dT 6 Release Note page - dynaTrace 6 Release Notes - if you search for "Firefox" you will find the section called Browser Diagnostics (with plugin)

Here it says:

S Firefox 17-28
S Internet Explorer 8/9/10/11

On the Dynatrace Product Download page for 6.0 there is a Browser Agent Update (right on the top of the download page) that says support for Firefox 29-32. So - for 6.0 we support IE until version 11 und FF all the way to version 32.

Hope this helps

Hi Andi,

Thanks for the response. I've had a look at the page but can't see anything that mentions which browsers are supported by the plugin agents. I could be missing something! Additionally, we're using version 6.0 currently.

Thanks
Steve

Hi

The Dynatrace 6.1 Release Notes contain the version information. Also - when we provide an updated version of the browser plugins we list the supported version on the product download page. does that help?

Andi
