Combined Dashboard

Hi ,

I would like to know whether it is possible to have a single dashboard with all system profiles combined? I have about 20 system profiles each with 4 dashboards. Is it possible to combine all the dashboards into one dashboard which can give a over view or somthing like executive view?

Up to how many clients can be used/installed for a large environment without any overhead on Dynatrace server?

To add one option to what Florent already said: check out this blog post: http://apmblog.dynatrace.com/2015/02/24/how-to-performance-monitor-all-your-applications-on-a-single-dashboard/ - our enablement service team is implementing some cool dashboards that aggregate data from large system environments. If you want to get this type of DB implemented you can reach out to our enablement service team

Dynatrace cannot display information from different profiles on the same dashlet but you could have lets' say 2 dashlets within the same dashboard "pinned" to 2 different profiles (with no overlap). Dynatrace 6.2 (coming out at the end of the month), will let you have a global infrastructure view but only from a host perspective.

About your second question, I couldn't find exact figures but since version 6.1, the front-end server helps scale better. It decouples the clients from the backend server so clients are no longer a bottleneck for Dynatrace. You could still saturate your front-end server with too many clients though .
