Hi
I know there are some topics that cover dtmigration and I also read some of them through but I do not really satisfy
with the given answer respectively I still have open questions.
I've installed dynTrace 6.2 on a new Windows server called chrv3490. Afterwards I've used dtmigration tool to migrate from 5.6 to 6.2. Following steps performed
1) on server chrv3491:
-> java -jar dtmigration.jar -migration -sourceDTHome "C:\Program Files\dynaTrace\dynaTrace 5.6.0" -targetArchiveDir "c:\source\dynatrace 5.6\migration"
2) copy over c:\source\dynatrace 5.6\migration to new server chrv3490
3) on server chrv3490
-> java -jar dtmigration.jar -migration -sourceArchive "c:\source\dynatrace 5.6\migration\chrv3491_2015-07-23_09.55.24.dtma" -targetDTHome "C:\Program Files\dynaTrace\dynaTrace 6.2"
As you now can mention after re-starting dynaTrace 6.2 on chrv3490 server-name has been set to chrv3491. Of course I've checked the xml file within C:\Program Files\dynaTrace\dynaTrace 6.2\server\conf and replaced servername within infrastructure.config.xml but no adjustments within C:\Program Files\dynaTrace\dynaTrace 6.2\server\conf\dashboards (there are a lot of xml-files around with the old servername chrv3491). As well when I look again into infrastructure.config.xml 'old' servename chrv3491 is again around, no clou why?
So could you please tell me which xml (and in which path) have to be manually modified.
Many thanks, Patrtik
