I'm forwarding events from Dynatrace to Splunk and I'm using the APM with dynaTrace app in Splunk. The "Visits On a Map" page failes to load Google Maps - message: Loading Google Maps API... Google maps and Max Mind has been installed.
If I run the search “User Analytics: Visit by Client IP” from “Searches, reports, and alerts”, Google maps is started, but the search bar is empty. If I copy the search into Google maps, it works. The other views on the page work. Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

Hello Anne,
I am no expert on Splunk but we JUST had the same issue. Fortunately we had a Splunk rep on the call when we were doing the integration and he mentioned that the dashboard is built with old calls from previous Splunk versions. I don't know exactly what his comment was, but it is my understanding that they don't use Google maps anymore. They have their own versions of maps. We didn't fix it as it is not something we are really interested in doing right now. We just know that if we want to make it work, it will take a bit of tweaking and some dashboard modification. My suggestion is to contact your Splunk rep and also post this comment in the Splunk plugin page.
