Can you specify which Web Request(s) you want to capture for UEM? Meaning if I only wanted capture two types of requests, could I isolate them? If so, how do you that?

Hey another question.
The Page Action Purepath, I notice that it showing for e.g. the requisition we clicked on, but if you had over 2,000 requisitions clicked on, you would probably see them all individually. Maybe you just wanted know that the users clicked on "Requisition View" and it's performing bad. Then I might want to break it down from there i.e. where the user is coming from and which requisition the user was clicking on when they poor experience. Is there a way too just get that information? I know I could filter, but that would just bring all Requisition and they still would be individual.
This is possible via a BT. I just tried it find below the configuration screens for a BT with one filtering measure and on splitting measure.
The BT must be based on Page Actions.
Please select "suppress storage of results in Performance Warehouse" for your initial try because if the splitting measure has to many different values you can end up in a measure explosion!
For the filtering measure choose a new Apdex based measure with a lower severe of 0.5
For the splitting measure choose a new Page Action Name measure. In my example I have chosen the target URI as I thought that might be most suitable for you. Feel free to switch to Action Name,...
At the end, if you open the BT, you get a something like the following dashboard from where you can focus on specific page actions.
Cheers Klaus
Klaus, thanks for the information, this really helped out a lot. A quick question, I saw on your BT the result measure said Total Time and I keep coming up with Load Time. How do you change? or What do i need to change? Sorry, I'm still a newbie at creating BTs. LOL
Mark, no worries about that. It is the same result measure. I am using a current development release 4.2 and development has renamed it. So you got a small preview

Thanks for the quick answers guys. Hey couple more questions:
1. How much disk space is consumer by the additional requests from UEM?
2. what is preferred storage size if you collecting about 10 million request per month?
3. How long is information maintain?
Hi,
I would need some more information to give you an appropriate estimation.
1. How many transactions are you currently capturing per day?
2. For how many days do you want to store the data in the continuous session?
3. Are you capturing static resource request (images, css, javascript) with UEM? If I would also need an average count per day
Your question 3 depends on the storage size. So adding more disk space is enlarging the visible time frame.

Mark,
there is another way to configure this, using applications. See the documentation for further information.

Hi Mark
You have multiple options
a) Restrict capturing by IP Address Range. For more information check System Profile - User Experience
b) exclude URLs through the Web Server Sensor. For the Agent Group that maps to your Web Server Agent you can configure which URLs to include/exclude -> this is done on the Sensor Configuration Tab/Web Server Sensor/Properties
Let me know if this helps
