Calculate % for availability

So I have set up a url monitor. I am measuring on content verified, giving me 0's/1's nicely. if I plot that on a graph the average is obviously between 0 -1. What i want to do is show that as a % - that will then show me availability. If I change the scale it still shows the avg: as less than 1.

Do I need another calculation? If so, where do I set that up?

Hi Klaus,

I have looked at Rate but don't understand how it can create a %? If my base measure is the URL Monitor ContentVerified - what will be my fraction measure? The stacked percentage chart sort of does it but only as a single figure - it doesn't show the failures plotted on a graph (if I want to show an over all picture).

What I would like is a line graph with the success/failures then an overall %. This would show outages and give me the uptime of the check.

Hi Matt,

Simply edit your system profile -> Measures -> System Monitoring -> URL Monitor -> <your monitor> -> ContentVerified, and on the details tab change the unit to "percent".

Then you can graph min/max/avg over time as you would expect.

Hi Matt,

Two things that you can do. For the custom charts there is a "Stacked Percentage Bar Chart" that shows you what you want. The other thing that you can use is the Rate measure that allows you to calculate a percentage value.
