smarter action names for BSM

Hi,

At a project we're involved at, we eventually need to capture all user actions and map them to a certain business service model. As this is a huge application, based on a single page and Dojo, page titles do not change and in many of the locations, the button/field captions are as clear of “0” or “321975” or “next”, “prev”, it is impossible to get a clear mapping of these names. We have also added data-dtname to the title of the page, which changes dynamically based on the specific task the user is located at.

It’s important to say that Dynatrace UEM is an input to dcrum, hence it is very important that the user actions names would be meaningful.

Can you think of any creative idea that would allow us to create names such as “click on 0 at task_1” and not just “click on 0” without having to force all developers to change all codes ?

Gil.

Hi Gil

Did you already come up with an idea on this one? I thought about this but I think specifying data-dtname is the only good option you have
