How to create a performance report by URL?

Here are few performance report i am looking to create however I  can't find much document related.

Here are key page performance metrics that i am interesting on: DNS lookup, Redirect, TimeToFirstByte, page Render time, Total response time.

Case 1. a performance report by URL. We would like to get report on performance metrics by URLs. We would also like to be able to setup alert based on threshold.

Case 2. a performance report by given list of URL and break down by give Region (or countries).

Case 3. Third party domain report for Given URL and break down by given Region.

Case 4. Same report as above, however would like to report on domains which are fired before window.onload event.

Hi Andreas,

Regarding #1, I am interesting on client side W3C navigation metric.Your answer to #2 help me to address it. Due to our web server is NOT supported, we don't have server side response time date. The "Web Page Performance" shows no data to us.

Regarding #2, I didn't figure out how to make it only report on given URLs. Also in the split, i didn't find split by Region. Can you please give me a direction on it?

Regarding #3,4 Is this something I could do or I need to find other tool like Hadoop to export the Business Transaction and do further analysis on?

Btw, I am new to the dynatrace. Please excuse for dummy questions.

Lizi

Hi

All of these reports can be created with dynatrace.

#1: Here I would start with the out-of-the-box dashboard we have available through the start center. It is the "Web Page Performance" dashboard. It shows you the top URLs. For each URL you then get the key metrics from a server-side perspective: Web Page Performance Analysis Dashboard

#2: For all other use cases you described + also for #1 in case you want to get DNS Lookup, REdirects, ... you need to create a Business Transaction that filters o nthe URLs you are interested in. This BT should then also Split by URL and return those metrics that you are interestd in as custom measures
