Hi,
My prospect is impressed with the visual display of improvements and degradation (positive and negative differences) as shown in API Comparison dashlet.
The use case for this is to prepare an exec summary report after a New Load Test to compare results with the previous (Older) Load Test
This dashlet allows one to view metrics like Exec Avg, CPU Avg and other metrics in Green and Red Color and is very eye-catching and is suitable for an Exec Summary.
My prospect wants the same visual representation of differences in Tagged Requests, Web Requests, SQL, Methods dashlet etc. Do you know if this can be done?
See attached screenshots.API Comparison - Chart + Table.jpg, WebRequests - No Chart.jpg
I looked for options in the dashlet properties but found no clues.

Thanks for the clarification. The "Charts" that some of the dashlets provide, e.g: API Dashlet or BT - are very specific to these dashlets and are not to be confused with the regular "Chart Dashlet" where you can chart any type of measure.
The API Dashlet provides a comparison mode for the chart and the table - but I think its the only dashlet that does it this way. For other dashlets this is not available. BUT - what you can do is to create two charts. in both charts you add e.g: the results of the "Synthetic Web Requests by Timer Name" BT. What you change is the source of these dashlets so that one uses your "First Session" and the other one the "Second Session" as datasource. This is not optimal - but - it should give you an option to compare two measures from different sessions with each other.

Hi Andi,
I have used the Session comparison feature across TWO .dts stored session files and can see data in 'Chart+Table' format for API Dashlet and as Table for the rest of the dashlets.
Let me clarify my specific question: How to enable ‘Chart + Table’ option for displaying the results of comparison of Web Requests, Tagged Web Requests etc. As of now the ‘Chart + Table’ option is available in a couple of dashlets like API Dashlet, Business Transaction etc.
I also saw your link to the online doc and found no hints on how the Chart option can be displayed for rest of the dashlets.
Regards,
Praveen

Yes - this is possible. And I am surprised you just didnt test it out on all these dashlets
Most of the PurePath-based Dashlets support comparison - here is more information in our online doc: Session Comparison
