Has Invalidate Test Run impact on the volatility

Hello,

We sometimes need to invalidate a test run (to avoid bad metrics to influence the corridor) but it looks like this has no impact on the volatility coefficient.

Is that correct or are we simply not seeing it correctly (bad exc

No that's ok, it would be nice to get it into the upcoming fall release though. Would it be included there?

Hi Jan,

as Chris Geebelen has asked for some feedback I looked closer at this issue. It seems to be an UI update problem. The volatility value is updated of course but you have to refresh the view manually. Just select another testcase and then reselect the test OR just press <F5> to redraw the dashlet.

Hello,

Ah that's great news - can't recall that I tried a refresh but we'll keep it in mind when we use the functionality again!

Thank you very much!

Hi Jan,

if you need the fix immediately, I recommend to open a support case to get a FixPack.

Hi Jan,

you were right. When invalidating a test run, a user would expect the results to be totally removed from statistics (regression in this case). I've filed submitted a bug issue for that.

Best regards,

Richard
