Automation Dashlet and Browser metrics

Hi,

I have an automation framework which runs Selenium against our environment and I use the DT timers to add them to the automation dashlet.

I would like to capture metrics such as onload time, first impression times in the automation dashlet as well. I only see these number is the browser performance report dashlet and I don't have any way in capturing the trend for these metrics in my automation framework.

Can you please help me with this?

thanks,

Solmaz

OnLoad, First Impression and Fully Loaded are currently not supported in the Test Automation Dashlet. Why? Because our Selenium Integration not only allows you to test loading of URLs but also interacting with the web page, e.g: click on a link, open a dynamic menu, ... - For these "web 2.0 actions" there is no onload, first impression, ... - thats why we dont calculate these measures in the moment

We have RFEs already in our backlog though that ask for extending the measures to things like onLoad and others

Hi Andereas,

In many cases it's important for me to measure the first impression time and the onload event over time for the page loads. Currently I have no way in measuring them and I'm thinking of making use of Webpagetest.org for these metrics but as I'm already using DT it's much easier for me to use DT. Is there a time estimate for the RFE?

thanks,

Solmaz
