Question by Daniele D. · Aug 20, 2014 at 06:14 PM · business transaction

Greater-than formula on a filter measure

Hi,

I made a business transaction filtered by mobile phones and user action URIs. It shows the perceived render time (rightmost column below) among all the other values.

I would like my BT to filter information by perceived render time greater that 5000 ms.

The Top X dashlet function helps up to a certain point. It helps me show data according to a criterion and a top value but doesn't aggregate. I would like my BT to show all the mobile phones (splitting) on a specific URI (filter) where the perceived render time is >= some value.

How can I do, please?

Thanks a lot,

Daniele

Hi Andreas,

I tried yesterday and didn't work... that's why I asked this morning. It is now working. Thank you!

Here are the steps

#1: Create a new Business Transaction choosing the type "User Action"

#2: As a Filter Measure you create your own "Perceived Render Time" Measure and specify 5000 as an upper severe threshold

#3: As a Split Measure you use the one that you use in your current BT

That should then calculate the results for only those User Actions where perceived render time is >= 5000ms
