Hi,
I have a scenario, as depicted in the attached Transaction Flow, in which there are several Web Requests shown. I suspect these Web Requests are originating from the Oracle database, and would like to separate web requests coming from within the environment (such as the database) from any coming from an external source. Is this possible? Can I define some sort of custom Entry Point to split the calls from within the environment from those coming from outside the environment?
As I understand it, because the database isn't instrumented with an agent, I cannot see its client IP or hostname, as I would with a UEM agent. How can I identify the origin of the web request?
Thanks,
Derick

are the external requests pointing to a different hostname than the internal ones? e.g. mycompany.com vs. mywebserver.corp? If so you can define "Applications" within the System Profile to identify these separately.

Hi. If you open the Web Request Dashlet you have the grouping option "Tier, URI and Query" (via context menu or toolbar toggle option). This will then give you an overview of those Web Requests that come in on your "Kony Web" vs those that come in on your "Kony Internal Web".
If you then drill from those Web Requests to the PurePath dashlet you will see the IP Address on the Details of the Entry Point Node of each PurePath.
