we have dynatrace on our production web site. A problem we have come acorss is it turns out that for some business processes that are very important users are redirected to an external 3rd party hosted and managed site on which we don't have dynatrace. Obvoiusly this means the visit ends and we get no more uem data and dynatrace.
so for example...
We are discussing with the vendor if its possible to put dynatrace on their servers they host for us but this is looking difficult for various reaons.
My question is I see in the manual we can do manual injection. The third party have said they are happy to do manual injection of the javascript agent and then send tag information back to us. Will this actually work though (ie. will dynatrace show is data from pages that are not hosted on its on platform but for which its getting uem transaction information??)

Hi Rick,
Yes it is possible with manual injection. The agent can be loaded from your domain. You will also see UEM only data / no server side.
To enable this you have to activate CORS. See JavaScript Agent CORS section
