Reinhard, many thanks for your prompt answer. I know that DynaTrace has a lot of possibilities. As I mentioned, just now our model is outdated based on availability of service or application. Only ONE number which is pretty much difficult for understanding. Finally our model will be completly different but for transition period I would like to use similar concept of relevant data. Am I able to join 2 and more apps and obtain ONE number regarding availability? All apps have the same weight...
Next one - e.g. from you perspective, what are the most interesting metrics which are valueable for business people? Regards jiri

Jiri,
with dynatrace you can get numerous different metrics ranging from a simple end user response time (loading of pages), server side response time (splitted by different transaction types/requests) down to timings of individual method calls in your application code stack or even timings of the execution of individual database statements. I can't really give you a list of what is measurable with dynatrace as this list would be rather long .
The important thing here is to define the KPI's that are important for you and then decide how to display it in dynatrace dashboards as there are also multiple ways how to present these metrics (charts, tables, ..., hotspot views etc.)
We also have customers exporting the metrics dynatrace captures to other systems and build dashboards off these external systems.
Have you ever looked at the automatic monitoring dashboards that present standard key metrics for detected applications (Throughput, Response Time, Failure Rate, process and host health)?
I think there is no exact answer to your very general question that fits in one forum reply.

I would like to open discussion reagarding measurements - in Erste group (especially Ceska) we've some model which is outdated and I would like to change that but I don't know what everything is possible with Dynatrace. The current model is based on availability - only ONE number. From my perspective isn't enough for understanding of application portfolio quality. Could you help me with the best way how to put on table simple and well arranged metrics? Second part - how to display on ONE dashboard (more than 50 apps just now, later 2 or 3 times more). many thanks jiri
