Under agent mapping there is a field called Agent Host, what is a good use for that?
I have a situation where I have a business transaction is setup for monitoring. The issue I have is it goes to default not to the application I would like it to go to. Is Agent Host used for that?

Agent Mapping are independant of Application Mapping.
Appliation Mapping purely works on URLs of your PurePaths. We look at the Entry Point URL of every PurePath and then map it to your APplications. Check out your Application Definitions in your System Profile and see which mappings you have defined.
now - for those PurePaths that map to "Default" I suggest you look at the URL of that PurePath. GEt the full URL in the Details Dialog of the Entry Point. Then creat a new mapping for that URL to map to the app that you want it to map to
If these are PurePaths that are "non-web", e.g: batch jobs - then they will always end up in "Default" because App Mapping in the moment only works for Web based PurePaths. There are RFEs to extend App Mapping to non-web PurePaths
