Hello,
We've got a need to indicate that response time of our service breached SLA. That SLA is based on threshold values for the 95th and 99th percentile. But we will be happy with at least indication whether the 95th percentile threshold was breached in the last 24h.
Is there any way to do this in Dynatrace?
I've tried traffic lights chart for response time (95th percentile aggregation), but since percentiles are calculated per hour and you cannot choose you want one value per last 24h, the traffic light gets red when the hourly percentile exceeded the threshold in just 1h. This doesn't meet our needs. Setting resolution on that chart to 1d doesn't help, because it takes one value measured at midnight. This value than of course doesn't match the 95% for the whole 24h as you can see on the screenshot.

Hi
You should look at our Smart Baselining and Alerting feature. You will need a Business Transaction for that but once you have that BT you can put it on the Application Overview for automatic baselining. If you have a static threshold like you explained you can also set that static threshold instead of relying on the dynamic baseline calculation.
