All,
We are currently trying to monitor an application that uses port 80 to launch a java application. We have entered in the server IP and port information but it isn't returning any statistics. Upon doing a wireshark capture we realised that the content type is 'application/x-java-jnlp-file' and not the standard 'text/html'.

Matt,
You can define non-standard content types on few levels, starting from global, then Software Service, then particular operation or even operation with specific parameter.
Recommended approach is to add the content type on the possible lowest level, so try to define operations that uses this content type, then if this is not possible then add it on Software Service level. Doing it in Global configuration should be considered only if this content type needs to be monitored in entire traffic that the AMD is analyzing.
Changing it globally will restart RTM service, not if you do it per Software Service.
Regards.
Excellent!
Thanks Adam for the quick response. We will try it from the lowest level possible.
