Our system administrator is looking to upgrade our systems from 2008 to 2012. He is asking whether Windows Server 2012 R2 with Service Pack 2 is supported. From the documentation (Report Server General Requirements), this is officially supported ("Select a server capable of running one of the following Windows editions with the latest release, service packs, and 5 Client Access Licenses (CALs).").
He is also asking whether SQL Server 2012 with Service Pack 2 is officially supported and whether there are any known issues. However the documentation has no explicit mention of whether the service pack is supported: "Only Microsoft SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 R2, and SQL Server 2012 are supported."
Can we get clarification on whether applying the service pack to SQL Server 2012 is supported or not?
Thanks.

Luke,
We support all versions mentioned in OS and SQL supported versions in DCRUM with all released Service Packs.
We have not heard about any known issues.
