Difference between Citrix ICA and Citrix ICA (with session reliability)

Hi Folks,

From a customer POC I found two types of Citrix software services (according to auto decode software services). Citrix ICA and Citrix ICA (with session reliability), anyone know the difference between? My ultimate goal is analyze the Citrix channel and user name performance. Please see the attached screen shots.

Thanks.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm using 12.2.1, both services are reported from the same AMD.

I define a software service using Citrix (non-ssl) protocol and change the decode payload to "full", however only see "All operation" in channel but not individual channel and publish application is empty.

Sylvian,

Do you have Citrix ICA and Citrix ICA (with session reliability) coming from the same AMD?

AFAIK in 12.3 the ICA analyzer has been modified and now by default it provides two additional metrics: Transport errors and Session reliability hand-offs:

Are you on 12.3?

Do you have both Software Services reported from the same AMD?
