Alert is not triggering - DCRUM

Hi team,

I have configured one alert for condition - Operation time exceeds 200% of benchmark value

I have selected below :

Dimension :  Software Service

Dimension Filter :  Software Service -  xyz.abc.com WEB VIP HTTPS 48022 ( as this SS was mentioned by app team for alert configuration)

Is Front end tier : Yes

Monitored Metrics: Opeartion Time

Baseline Conditions: current value is greater than 2 times baseline value.

But this alert is not triggering for some reason. Please provide your suggestions.

Hi Rashmi,

I am assuming that the operation time for the software service did indeed exceed the 200% of the benchmark value, right?

If so, can you please check  your alert definition to make sure it includes one of the following combination of dimensions?

  • Software service – server IP address

  • Software service – server IP address – operation

  • Software service – server IP address – task

  • Software service – server IP address – module

  • Software service – server IP address – service

  • Reporting group – software service – server IP address – operation

  • Application – software service – server IP address – operation

  • Transaction – software service – server IP address – operation

  • Tier – software service – server IP address – operation

  • Site – software service

  • Area – software service

  • Region – software service

  • WAN link name – software service

See this link

Hope this helps,

Harshal.
