No Access to Transaction Trace Drill Downs from CAS

Hi All,

I have a customer who is using Enterprise Synthetic Monitoring 12.3 and having trouble drilling down to the Transaction Trace report from the "Synthetic -Slow Transactions" page in the CAS. Only the adminuser can successfully drill drill down the Transaction Trace report but all the other users get a 403 access denied error. .

I have checked the user permission in the CSS and assigned Report Administrator and Synthetic Console roles to the local user but he still cannot drill down. In the CAS web server log I can see the 403 errors and GET requests to trace.htm for that user.

Can you please let me know where can I grant the local users access to the Transaction trace drill down?

I have attached the following screenshots to the post:

1. Local user cannot access DNA report.png

2. Web Server Log.png

3. Adminuser can successfully access.png

Thanks!

Tameem

Just had an reply from support. To solve the issue we should:

append line "file_proxy/*.all.group.allow=true"
to the file:
config/servlets-hcbs.properties

And restart the CAS.

Hi Tameem!

I'm experiencing the same issue here. Have you figured out which permissions/role the user have to be for this work?

Thanks.

Avner
