Is it possible to have an alert triggered upon detecting an error on any page object? For example, if there is a 404 reported for an image on the page, we'd want an alert triggered? Thank You.

As Marc says you can't trigger on a specific object, but what some people do is to set an object failure alert that triggers on a certain number or percentage of failed objects. This is usually used to catch situations where a lot of objects are suddenly missing on the page. I'm not sure if that will help you but but it might be worth taking a look.

Thank you for contacting the APM Forums. Unfortunately, you can not attach an alert to a specific object failure. It is only when the whole test fails. Often time, 404 errors will later correct themselves by loading the object again. For the alert to trigger, the test (or step level if you have that set) needs to fail. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
