Thread Dump Action Plugin

Hi all,

we have cluster with 2 physical servers with 3 nodes on each server. We created incident which is triggered if some JMX metric overgrow the threshold then thread dumps should be created via Thread Dump Action Plugin. We set the plugin but anytime thread dumps are created only on the first node of the cluster even if incident is for other node from the cluster.

Have you some ideas why the plugin creates dumps on other node than the incident is for?

Thanks,

Jakub

The Thread Dump Action should be executed on the Agent that violates the threshold. It requires the measure to have the "create measure for every agent" check box enabled - otherwise you dont get the metric for every agent but just for the agent group.

So - just a sanity check: if you put the metric on a chart - do you see the measure for every agent?

If that is the case but yet still you only get the dump on the first node I suggest you open a support ticket as it should work as you expect it to work -> meaning: create a dump for the agent that violates the threshold

Sanity check passed, the measures are there for each agent. I will open a support ticket.
