Question by Jerome T. · Jan 08, 2016 at 04:37 PM · business transaction client

How can filter in a business transactions all Client webservices

Hi all

I'm doing an evaluation for a customer. In the application, I have some webservices from both Client and Server side monitored.

I want to graph only Client Side Web Services time and count, for every WS. How can I split or filter my result to get only Client side?

I have tried BT but the only measure I found is based on Method or End Point Value. (any access to C value in Client or Server Column on the Web Services Dashlet?)

Is someone has already done this kind of things?

Have you got an idea of how to do?

Thanks,

Best Regards

Jerome

Hi

I'll send you a session by mail. What I really need to get is count and performance for Webservices based on the "application name" which is highlighted in yellow:

I first created a business transaction based on WS method name and used a regex to get only the "name". It works well. But I need to filter on client side to be sure (i have done an "start with https" for now but it's not very clean)...

The host for both client and server side is the same: CLP4210CU.

Thank you for helping.

Best Regards,

Jerome

Hey Jerome,

If you send me a session file at saanjeith.varathan@dynatrace.com I will take a look at it this weekend.

Just a rough guess: Filter: *Exclude IP of Servers* Calc Results & Splittings: Web Service count

Cheers,

Sanj
