Hi Community,
Has anyone instrumented Alfresco with AppMon agents? I believe it's possible since it runs on Java, but I wonder if someone has tried it and if it has any particularities. Thanks! Best regards,
Daniel

Since you're not seeing any output in your command line window from the Dynatrace agent, then that means the -agentpath argument is not in the correct location. I suggest editing your catalina.bat file and add it to the JAVA_OPTS variable. If you still dont' see it then verify that you're editing the correction section of your catalina.bat, as there's some conditional sections.

Hi Daniel
I've been using the Community Edition for many of my YouTube Tutorials. it works really well for me. It is straight forward. If you want to see it check out Dynatrace For Java Apps YouTube Tutorial
Hi @Andreas G.
I've been following your your Youtube Tutorials.
Last night I try to monitor Alfresco community(tomcat 7) on my Windows machine (64 bit ). I've tried several times but my agent did not connect after my configuration. I decided to put the configuration line in setenv.bat file. Here is the screenshot
Do you see any output from Tomcat at all about the Dynatrace agent? The JAva Version you use - is that a 32 or a 64bit JVM? IF it is a 64bit JVM you need to load the 64bit Dynatrace JAva AGent from /lib64 instead of /lib. Can you therefore verify the JVM version as well as tell me if there is any console output from tomcat that would indicate any issue when loading the dynatrace agent
I replaced lib with lib64 according to your answer. But it did not work. Also I tried to start tomcat alone after the configuration pattern you suggested. Here is the screenshot of the output of java version and tomcat startup. I received no connection of the agent.
Thanks for your help

Hi @Andreas G. I am using easyTravel. An dI would like to know if I could monitor the database using database agents. if so. How to do achieve that ?
First, I try to monitor the derby database but on the database agent configuration dialog there is no proposition on Database type about Derby.
So I decided to change my mind and look for the SQL Server. But inside easyTravel property file I couldn't see where I can access the SQL server access parameter.
no worries. your english is good enough :-)
Check out this community page where we explain how you can switch the database to e.g: SQL Server or Oracle. Once you do that you can also use our Database Agent to monitor these database instances
