Hello, I am a new customer to Dyntrace and are wondering how other organisations trained there staff to use the application monitoring tool and dcrum. (APMU, Internal Training Sessions, or Written Documentation)
If anyone could provide guidance, tips ( words of wisdom), or documentation on training staff members to the application monitoring tool and dcrum more effectively, I would greatly appreciate it.

We also offer instructor led training onsite or remotely via WebEx, as well as Virtual Instructor Led Training (vILT) with GoToTraining, which is geared more toward those who are interested in pursuing a Dynatrace Associate or Professional Level certification. These require "points", while all the one's Uzair pointed out are all free (or included with the cost of your agent licenses, you might say).
HTH,
dave

Welcome Aboard @Jon Kavanagh. DynaTrace Online forums have got oceans of knowledge pool that you can learn from. The popular and interactive areas to learn and implement the tool would be
1. APM University - This as many visual training sessions that are go to solutions for your implementation >> Configuration >> Troubleshooting process
2. Forums - Many Dynatrace Experts do answer queries based on their timezone availability and you can search if someone already had the same problem statement
3. support Team - Raise tickets for any issues observed within your environment
4. Docs - Learn the subjective details about your need.
Thanks,
Uzair

I think that entirely depends on the student, and the quality of the time spent. :-)
Have you checked the APMU Certification Pages for details?
Main Certification Page:
http://apmu.dynatrace.com/index.php?home_view=cr
AppMon Certification Page:
http://apmu.dynatrace.com/index.php?cert_id=850
There is a wealth of information here, such as recommended ways to prepare, a practice test, costs, etc.

Thanks for the information @Dave Mauney , also how long did it people to review the materiel and get the associate certification? (weeks, months, years)

In theory, you could learn everything necessary on your own via APMU, documentation, following the forums, etc. The vILT is simply geared towards preparing you for the specific certification (Associate or Professional). Consider it a as a test preparation tool. You don't need to make use of it, but it should help if you do.
