Dynatrace 6.3 - Tomcat/Java Agent can collect UEM data?

Hello,

Trying to instrument an application but noticed that my web agent does not appear to be collecting anything. Can't get my Dynatrace client information to show of Dynatrace Web, but still appear to be getting UEM data.

To be more specific, I can access the Web Dashboards but they are not being populated with any UEM data.

Here I am getting UEM data:

But when I try to go to Web Dashboards:

Leads me to think that maybe my Tomcat/Java agent is collecting UEM data?

Hi Jason,

The java agents can inject the UEM javascript and will report the data, even if the web server agent is turned off. Please see the screenshot below from the documentation:

I hope this helps,

Eric

Eric, thank you for the response. This supports our understanding of the Tom Cat Apache agent being able to handle the UEM data.

However, we are still unable to see the UEM data from the web dashboard. Do you have any knowledge on how we can fix this? All the logs seem to be clear of errors.

Jason, have you checked your connection to the Performance Warehouse?

It may be disconnected.

Thanks,

Arnaud
