I recently installed Dynatrace APM 6.3. I had the version 6.0 but I didn't installed it but at the time it had either a Bussiness Transaction or Splitting already configured to discover the usernames of a know domain that are using an application. Something like this:
Right now, I'm viewing the visits with the following string: "Visit from a local network at <IP Address> using <Browser>"
How can I configure a Bussiness Transaction or a spliting to discover the Usernames of the users that are using the application?

Greetings, I was able to tag the users. In the case of the QNXT Application which is based in .NET. What I did was identify the Agent Pool assigned the to the QNXT Application Pool itself. Then go to the Sensor Configuration > ASP.NET Sensor > Properties. I defined the values to identify de Source as a Server Variable and the attribute to "LOGON_USER" and "AUTH_USER". This setting gave me what I was actually looking for.

you can use the same splitting in user experience settings for tagging a visit. See
