I am trying to send synthetic alerts to our on-premise event management solution (CA UIM). This thread referred to a tool called Transponder that can receive the alert from Synthetic and convert it to an SNMP trap: https://answers.dynatrace.com/questions/123447/sen...
Does anyone have any solution they're using to bring their alerts back to an event manager system?
@Deborah Petersen and I have also discussed writing an on-premise parser that would receive either XML or raw text then convert it to a UIM alarm.

Just a comment on Nyna's post. We have a technology that is called a transponder, it's a small piece of software that gets installed on a Windows desktop inside the firewall. It communicates securely via HTTPs to the Dynatrace cloud and listens for alerts. When an alert is triggered, the transponder will receive it securely and send an SNMP trap to an event management system. A correction: The transponder is not part of a product here at Dynatrace, it's just a piece of enabling software for our SNMP alert functionality for the Dynatrace Synthetic monitoring platform.

Transponder is part of our Data Center RUM. Currently, if using SNMP traps to receive Synthetic alerts, it can only be transfered/received by the transponder.
Would using APIs pulling the alerts details then imported to your on-premise parser work for you?
Also, in the up coming Portal release, Synthetic alerts can be directly sent to chatops software as Slack, Victorops and ServiceNow. Would that be helpful for you?
