Visibility into "All other operations" under DCRUM

Hello,

We are having several alerts configured in DCRUM for performance & availability. These alert will send to respective application team in case of threshold breach & most of the alert received by application team are for "All other" transaction.

When they look into the URL generated in alerts for report they found some info like affected user & operation time so & so. To drill down further they just click on user count & check for individual user activity-details. It shows some URL's.

So does these URL's belongs to "All other operations"?

AK

Hello Akshay,

The question is very common "How to check what's inside All other operations?"

There are three different ways to look into all other operations. Check the following link:

Hi Akshay,

By default DCRUM uses a URL auto learning algorithm to monitor the top X operations/URLs for each software service. If a particular URL is not executed enough times it is then averaged into the "All other" bucket. Additional information can be found below.

Hi Elena,

This is already answered :)

You can try 3rd option given in the below link.

https://community.dynatrace.com/community/

To verify this, you can create a simple reports by adding the software service, operation as dimension & operations as metric.

The number of All other operations for the last monitoring interval in reports should be 0.

Hope this helps.

Note:- "all other" transaction & "all other operation" is altogether different thing.

AK
