Is it possible to send an email from a Custom Action in the dynatrace recorder?
What I'm trying to achieve is to have two possible outcomes in a recording. The first outcome is, it runs through and all is good. The second is, it encounters a particular message and simply sends an email or some other form of notification but it never fails. Of course if the validations fail in the recording then the script will fail or if the thresholds are exceeded it will fail.

Basically, our Recorder sends the request based on the HTTP (GET, POST, etc.). Meanwhile, we also have ability to send SMS. I am not sure if we could help you send email, which is up to what kind of API or method you provided. Anyhow, we suggest you to open an ticket in your support system (support.dynatrace.com/), where our scripting expert will check your requirement further and help you find the solution.
