What alerts are covered for vCenter?

My client has a large vCenter infrastructure and is very happy with with amount of data gathered from the Dynatrace vCenter hook-in, but they have a few questions about what alerts are available.

They know about the alerts in 'Settings -> Anomaly Detection', but here are the specific questions they have:

  1. Can Dynatrace alert if any of the Datastores on an ESXi host run out of disk space (or at a specific % of disk space) or the datastore is lost?
  2. If an ESXi host goes offline or crashes will there be an availability alert?

Thanks!

We are currently working on Datastore running out of space event. It should be released soon.

Availability events for ESXi hosts are on the roadmap.

Best Regards,

Karolina
