RFE: Publish ip addresses of SaaS Servers across all regions

I am looking for a doc which mentions the ip addresses of Dt SaaS Reporting Server instances per-region for which port 443 and 8443 have to be opened from my customer's Data Center.

Customer wants to know to which ip addresses (target ip) should the network ports 443 and 8443 be opened for?

I searched the documentation but could not find it.

Typically customers take several days / weeks to open network ports.

So it is will be helpful if the port numbers are published per Dt SaaS Region so I can ask Customer to open ports 443/8443 for those ip addresses and be prepared to execute the poc/Trial from 1st day itself.

This makes sense to me - not sure if there are any other things to consider. FYI I'm not sure if you have the ability to or if an admin needs to make the change but creating this as an 'Idea' will let others vote on it. Right now it's a question.

Not sure what you exactly mean with SaaS Servers across all regions, but for the web check nodes you can find the IP addresses directly in the UI for each location.
Take a look at: https://www.dynatrace.com/blog/now-can-verify-application-accessibility-web-check-ip-addresses/

Hi,

I am not referring to Web Checks.

I am referring to the Multi Tenant SaaS Instance created for a prospect customer like https://abc123.live.dynatrace.com.

My customer wants to know the ip address(es) of abc123.live.dynatrace.com before hand so that they can open the network ports+ip combination much before the start date of the POC/Trial.

We have the list of IP addresses for a given tenant in the agent download screen like this:

Of course you can also run e.g. nslookup on the command line to find that out.

The problem with publishing IP addresses for all clusters is that for some regions we have more than one cluster, and you have no way to know on which cluster the tenant will be created. Even worse, between telling your prospect the IP addresses and actually starting a trial, we might create a new cluster with different IP addresses.

So the only way to ensure you give out the right IP addresses to first create the tenant and then either lookup the IP addresses by running:

C:\>nslookup abc.live.dynatrace.com

from the windows command-line or look into the agent download screen.

As you know you can extend trial tenants, if that is necessary.
