GC & Heap Utilisation for AIX MQ

Hello,

Is there any additional configuration required to see GC and Heap metrics for IIB 10 running on AIX 7.1 64bit?

This post seems to indicate there is an additional step required

Thanks for the help,

Carl

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 50.0 MiB each and 250.0 MiB total.

I'm not familiar with IIB 10, but it's running in a JVM, right?

Once you instrumented it with the appmon agent you will get the GC/Heap metrics out of the box, no additional configuration requiered.

IIB (Message Broker) is not Java, and will not show suspension time charts. This is the same process screen you get for any Native ADK instrumentation as well

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the insight, is it a mistake that we display the suspension chart?

That's correct however the attached screenshot from our estate shows an unpopulated Suspension Chart

Okay, interesting. I wasn't able to find anything about additional configuration requirements for IIB 10. Let's see if someone else cal help out, else you can open a support case.
